VeChain, an ambitious project that can help in the fight against counterfeiting

VeChain is a project launched by the VeChain foundation based in Singapore in August 2017. When it was created, Vechain was based on the Ethereum blockchain, but since mid-2018, the project has had its own blockchain called VechainThor.

 Based on blockchain technology, VeChain wishes to digitize assets to allow better interactions between the digital and physical world.  For this, VeChain offers its users the possibility of tracking any product and ensuring traceability.  This allows on the one hand to promote transparency and to know where the product comes from, what its characteristics are, if it is authentic ... And on the other hand to record all the stages, information, raw materials,  etc.  that are used to make a product.

Thanks to VeChain, a product can be traced throughout its life cycle, from production to marketing. Companies or consumers will be able to consult the data of a good stored on the blockchain and this, in complete transparency, with the certainty that this data has never been falsified.
