Pros
- Is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency where the transactions can be anonymous if you wish, with low fees and transactions in a few minutes with your new updates.
Cons
- The use of anonymity used for illicit purposes has affected the ecosystem a bit. However, I understand that this is a problem of the use that is given, not of the network. But solutions could be sought for this
