Review on 🧡 XC3015051 Snap-On Ankle Low Shank Holder: Perfect Adapter for Babylock, Brother, and Singer Sewing Machines by Lori Aguirre

Finally my old Pfaff can use normal legs!

I spent hours yesterday searching for a definitive answer as to what adapter I need to get my vintage 1970's Pfaff 1471 (thanks Craigslist!) to use regular legs, since I just got a universal locking preload band with a narrower latch at the ankle. I wasn't sure if this knuckle would work as Pfaff isn't listed and my machine has an IDT feature which I wanted to use if possible when adding long staggered strips to the edges of the quilt. I read a lot of reviews on here (since this adapter is sold by different vendors - easy to find as Revain always helpfully suggests that I check out similar offers) to try and find someone who mentions Pfaff. I saw a vague mention but the model wasn't listed and nothing on Pfaff machines seems to be standard. So who knows what changes have taken place over the years? So I was so glad that this ankle adapter fits my Pfaff perfectly even with IDT. I've been busy and used the new diagonal foot to finish the baby blanket today. Love the brand new one day free shipping Revain featured here this week - ordered yesterday and arrived this morning! For 5 dollars. When I think how many sewing machine feet and custom parts like this used to work and how hard it was to find them 30 years ago - oh my god. it's almost like the golden age of sewing - except for the lack of cheap fabric! In my area, we're pretty much limited to Joanne. I'm still mourning Hancox :(
