I am using this as a Bird Hut / Hopefully Nesting Hut for my mated pair of Sun Conures. Hung it up in cage instead of putting it on the bottom to reduce the amount of bird poop that will get on it. Won't be able to wash it once she lays eggs in it till the babies are removed from the cage. Normally the female destroys anything that is put in the cage but has left this Hut alone. Might be because she is busy destroying the grass basket I put in the bottom. The birds spend a good deal of time in it. Hopefully this one will last long enough to get babies.
