Bought to eliminate another cable for my laptop as part of my COVID-19 remote work environment. I have a USB-C multifunction hub that controls two monitors, a headset, a keyboard and a mouse for my USB-C connected laptop. The hub is also powered by the USB-C PD (Power Delivery) connector. Before I added this power supply, I had to connect the laptop power supply separately. Now one cable provides all the data and power for the laptop. This power supply is probably overkill for what I need. I could do with something closer to 60 watts. However, some overhead is not so bad. Some complain about the overheating of the power supply. I assume they got almost maximum power out of it as I never felt it more than heat up. Keep in mind that this power bank is larger than the portable chargers you might be used to, but that's understandable given how much power it puts out. The cable is also rigidly attached, but this is probably due to the special requirements of the cable when transmitting such a large amount of power. The cord is long enough that there is no problem going from the extension cord on the floor to the hub on top of the desk and halfway across the desk. It works. Happy with the purchase and I have a clean desk at home even when the laptop is in use.
