I've assembled many, many cinema systems in my home over the years, but oddly this is my first TV wall mount of this type so I'm not sure if the following is exclusive to this particular case. mount, or if that's fairly industry standard. Admittedly, the wall mount is a fairly simple tool. Assembly was easy and the instructions that came with it were some of the most complete and easy to follow I've seen. Unlike the usual sheet of broken English and tiny illustrations that accompany most accessories, a lot of effort has really gone into the instructions. The bracket came with a package containing all the screws and gaskets imaginable to attach the mounting brackets to the TV. My TV already had screws so I didn't need them, but it was great that they were included. He also had the hardware to attach the other part of the mount to the wall. The slots on the wall mount give you some wiggle room when attaching the mount to the 16" center wall studs, but if you have a large TV (like my 65" screen) with a 16 x 24 VESA mount, do You only need an inch or about horizontally to move the TV after hanging it on the bracket. So plan ahead when deciding where to hang the wall piece. My wife and I were able to easily pick up the TV (and then pick it up again when I forgot the speaker wire that was supposed to run behind the TV) and hang the TV mount part on the wall part. Maybe we just got lucky, but there wasn't any "fishing" to find the right height like trying to hang a picture on the wall with those little triangular rings at the back. We just picked up and hired. The mount allows you to tilt the top of the TV a few inches, and if you have a heavy TV you'll need to decide ahead of time whether you want to tilt it or not, as mine tends to tilt out of the box. . There are screws you can tighten to stop the tilt, but you'll have to take the TV off the wall to do this again. It's best to plan ahead and decide whether you want to tilt it or not before hanging it. The included HDMI cable seems to work. I hooked it up to a Roku box with no apparent issues. If I had to make one change, it would be this, and it's a minor change. There are two hanging straps that you can use to reach under and behind the TV to detach the TV portion of the mount from the wall portion if you need to remove the TV from the wall. At least on my large 65" TV these straps are too short to reach far enough for an easy grip if you have big hands like mine. I can barely touch it with my fingertips and pinch it between my index and middle fingers and pulling it out releases the latches because it requires very little pulling force, but it's hard for me to get between my fingers. I know this wouldn't be an issue with a smaller TV, so if there was a way to pre-adjust these straps then this mount would be absolutely perfect. However, this isn't a huge problem for splicing a star as you'll likely never use these straps after initial installation until you're ready to finally tear down the TV. And a moment. The included level is great as a toy for my 4 year old but not a real tool. It can be used in a pinch (although the bubble may not be in the center of a flat surface if you swap the end of the spirit level for one end and make sure the bubble is hanging the same distance from center on each side, if If you swap the ends you can still align something.) I didn't use the layer that came with it anyway, so no big deal. All in all a great mount that does what it's supposed to do with detailed instructions and additional hardware you'll be using.
