This is a good product that is well made and reasonably priced. The crossbar is strong and I'm not afraid of it bending from the clothes hanging from it. The brackets are a bit flimsy, but given the direction they hang, they sure won't let you down. The rod attaches to the brackets with a large screw, about 3/8 or 10mm in diameter, so it doesn't go anywhere. It was mentioned as hanging from a single wire of the shelf, but this wire is a beam configuration and is the strongest part of the shelf, and its weight slightly exceeds the calculated capacity weight of each shelf. As a result, I don't expect any issues with durability, it's strong. I had the same problem as many people with missing brackets. I believe this is a packaging issue as both my original and replacement packaging were damaged in transit. The replacement was just a fluke as the brackets were open when it arrived. After all these reviews, if this was my product I would have someone repackage it in a way that the parts wouldn't get lost in transit and double check that they were even there. The seller I bought from was Bison Office. . When I contacted them about the issue, they responded quickly via email asking if I would like a refund or a replacement. This is the perfect question for a customer service department. By the way. I opted for a replacement and received it within a few days. Thanks to them (Lucas especially).
