Not for Andersen storm doors. I am a contractor and needed to replace the lock on my Andersen storm door. We figured it wouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Closer to two o'clock. This is intended to be a replacement for an existing set of locks so you will not receive a sample. NONE of the existing holes matched this product. And when the holes in a metal door are only 1/4 inch apart, making the necessary adjustments isn't easy. A template would be helpful to know exactly where to move each hole. You have to put a few parts in and out to know the exact location of the holes. Positive, after installation it works quite well and looks very nice. But next time I would get a different replacement directly.
