I bought two of these to connect some old Dell monitors with DVI connectors to an ASRock RX570 4GB graphics card. I sent back the first graphics card as it turned out that the DisplayPort connectors weren't working. When the second card had the same issue, I tried a newer Displayport capable monitor with a straight DisplayPort cable and it worked. Unfortunately it is too late for a return. Ultimately, I'm not sure if the problem is with how the card implements DisplayPort or with those cables, but an active DisplayPort to DVI cable should work. There is no output to a monitor. Windows does not show the connected monitor. This is on a Windows 7 64-bit system.
