AliExpress turned out to be my best E-commerce store
I got my first order from AliExpress few weeks ago and since then, many others have followed. I never thought Online shopping could have been this interesting. I simply placed orders, and to Note, the costs of the products I usually buy from AliExpress tend to be way more cheaper than getting it in my local shopping store or even the local online marketplace. AliExpress really does have a way of catching the attention of users. This platform has a lot of discounts which you can get by playing games and completing stuffs like missions, purchases, viewing a seller's dashboard etc. This discounts are very good in value reaching up to $3 for some. Most of the orders I made, I got discounts for them plus, I also used free shipping so it was a win-win for me. To note, the speed of the shipping is also noteworthy. It took me an average of 35 days to receive all of my first orders so it's quite worth the wait.
In checking in with the refund policy just I case, as I have heard a lot of bad comments from people in my locality saying the products you get from AliExpress will turn out to be bad, I tried them out to see as they have a good refund policy, it should still be good either way, so I thought. But on receiving my products, they were all in good shape, no mistakes, no broken parts. It was just perfect.
I also need to talk of the platform setup. The filters are good but they have their limitation which are not all that bad. Category grouping of the products also makes it easy for everyone to get what they need without malingering about the site. Also the platform is well setup for communication between both parties involved in the exchange of goods which are the buyers and sellers. I had two of my products taking longer than 30 days to arrive and I decided to talk to the seller as the products used free shipping so I couldn't track it's movement. Their response was fast and great. Within a day or two, I received them. AliExpress also have a simplified shipping platform on Messenger which integrates most of the platforms usefulness on the Facebook messaging application.
With my experience using AliExpress, I doubt if I will use any other e-commerce store. They simply make up to be the best to me as of now.
Pros
- AliExpress has a variety of products ranging from Cosmetics, Electronics, appliances etc. You can always find what you're looking for on Aliexpress
- It's hard for any user to get lost searching out the products due to the setup of the platform that makes it easy to navigate
- Shipping fees are mostly free or moderate for some selected products
- Delivery speed is a good one to reckon with. Free shipping gets your products in less than 40 day while Express shipping gets your products to the doorstep in less than a week or two
- The platform is well setup for sellers to communicate efficiently with the buyers
- They have a good refund policy
- Discounts upon discounts are available on Aliexpress
Cons
- Standard shipping doesn't get your products to the house but Post office
