Makes perfectly smooth baby puree but has an expiration date of

Great little blender. I've tried (unsuccessfully) using the Ninja blender to make food for my baby. I'm glad I switched to this product. It conjures up a perfectly silky smooth puree within a minute and is very easy to disassemble for cleaning. The little pots are great too, at first I thought I'd never use them because they look tiny. But actually they contain the perfect portion for my 6 month old baby. I also like the freezer dividers. Small portions of frozen food can be easily removed and placed directly in serving pots and thawed on the kitchen counter. BUT. it is not built to last. I've been using mine for 4 months now, use it almost every day, and small engine parts have started falling off the base unit. The screws are now exposed, making operation noisy and friction leading to overheating and a burnt metal smell. In addition, it no longer closes properly because, despite being dishwasher safe, it was warped by the heat of the dishwasher and no longer fits properly. Great blender that works like a charm for about 4-5 months. Then you'll probably need to buy another blender.
