These aren't the best gloves, but for $10 you can't go wrong. I spent days digging with a shovel after a snow storm in the Midwest and ordered these gloves just before they arrived. The temperature was about 5 degrees with a strong wind. They kept my hands relatively warm. One of my fingers started getting cold towards the end, but nothing serious. The waterproof material on the outside was good for the snow, although at one point there was a small hole in the ankle of one of my gloves. But for $10 they're not bad at all. The color is beautiful and goes with almost every jacket. I am a woman with small hands and the large size suits me. So I'm not sure if men with big hands will have a problem with that or not. However, a larger hand than mine would have been fine given the space available. one-day ski trip: that's it!
