So far this charger/power supply works well with the old reliable HP 8460p. The device heats up under full load, but does not heat up. My laptop seems happy. The downside is that I seem to use at least two of these cheap consumables a year. It seems overdone. This one looks exactly like the one that went down last year, but I can just leave it running and see what happens. I bought a more expensive (and under warranty) PWR+ model that failed after about 4 months. If they stand behind them, that's the best way for me.
