I bought this unit to replace another brand I had for 5 years. I researched many units and for the price, size, and watts I thought this was the best value. It is! Best feature- Keeps heat at the set range when adding foods. Heats up quickly, holds good amount of oil compared to other units in this range, and is easy to clean. Only negative- it has good size basket, but considering the overall size, the basket could have been a little bigger. I would buy it again.Note, I have had this now for 4 months and have used it many times.
