I am 5' 11" and weigh 204 pounds. I normally wear a size XL and received this in an XL. It is a slightly snug fit, very form fitting so I would say it is true to size or runs slightly small. I think a size up would have been more flattering. I have an average size chest (C cup) and broad shoulders. I have a bit of a tummy. The fit of this shirt is perfect across the shoulders, when usually clothes are not broad enough. The length is also quite nice but not long enough to cover the goods if you want to wear it with leggings. The front hangs almost 3 inches longer than the back which is the opposite of most clothing but not noticeable when the shirt is worn. There is a slit on one side (the side of the gathers) which is a nice stylistic touch but not necessary for comfort or movement. The seam on the opposite side comes forward on the shirt, which you can sort of see on the burgundy or white shirt photos. In real life, the seam on mine comes much further to center and looks a little strange, but doesn't feel as if it were unintentional -- it doesn't pull or bunch up at all. The chest is a tight fit, to the point that you don't see the gathers at the side. You do see the gathers below the bust, but unfortunately it sort of rounds out the belly and accentuates it. I suspect if I had sized up or lost a little weight it would be quite flattering, but as it is I am on the fence about it.The fabric is incredibly soft and when I had my daughter (who is a size M) try it on, it looked fantastic on her. The color is a pretty raisin burgundy color, not as bright as the listing photo shows. Quite a nice fall color.Construction is sound, I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws or mis-sewn seams.They did include a freebie necklace which is nothing fantastic but my daughter loved.Made in China, 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex. Machine wash cold with like colors, reshape and dry flat.
