In the kitchen, patience when cooking is not my forte. This works well, but the albumen seems to hang through the holes for ages before separating. I take a fork or other handy weapon of mass destruction and "help" scrape the dangling protein off the separator to speed up the process. If you usually separate 3 eggs and use a bowl big enough to hold 3 of those things, they're cheap enough. You might consider buying 3, put an egg in them, come back in 5 minutes and maybe the Newton-Einstein waves of gravity will do the job. performed the separation work without human intervention. But I'm not patient enough to know for sure. So far I haven't had a broken yolk with this machine and I've probably made about 3 dozen eggs in all that time.
