These are great binoculars! You can use them to find range, but you have to calculate it, it isn’t just point and click. I did not receive the tripod adapter in the box, but the company did send it free of charge when I emailed them. Over all pretty happy with them. There was some weird green residue on the hand grips, but wiped off with a disinfecting wipe fairly well. These seem pretty well made, and durable, and should do well on the next hunting trip.
