Bought these for repairing shade sails as they fit the description 'suitable for repairing tarpaulins and awnings'. First, they are really low quality. They aren't nearly as strong as the ones you buy at your local hardware store. How do I know? I had to do a direct comparison because. Second, the kit arrived without an anvil, so the whole thing was completely unusable. I had to run to the hardware store in the morning to get a replacement set. What I bought blew this kit out of the water. I think the part fell out of the cheap plastic bag it was in. It was not in the undamaged shipping box. They are closer in size to the 3/8 that came with my other set. The flange surrounding the nose is very thin. Because the compression of this flange holds the bushing in place, they don't last long. Bottom line: If you want a quality product, buy it, but not if you expect the kit to come as a kit. Do not buy this to fix tarps or awnings. Be careful with the size.
