Review on Replacement GY20570 GX20072 Kevlar Specifications by Trent Kraft

Okay, it's finally spring here in the Midwest and the grass is starting to get about 4-5 inches tall, so I got a JD mower to use for seasonal work deck, blades removed and sharpened, old dry grass scraped off, all pivots oiled, oil and filter changed, started and was ready to cut. Walked about 3/4 through my 1 acre property and smelled burning rubber, turned off the mower, checked the belt and saw it was stretched and if I keep cutting it might break. I've done this every year for the fifteen years of owning the mower now, so I'm 100% sure the belt was installed properly around the drive pulley, blade pulleys and idler pulleys with no twisting when it was installed. Furnished. But when I inspected it, the strap had "a few" twists, so there was no way I could tighten it that way. Not at all sure why this happened but I will contact the seller in hopes of getting a replacement. soon because the grass has to be mowed in less than a week.
