So if you get the old version, I highly recommend it. This has been my favorite moisturizer for years - always reliable, has always made my skin look better. Never irritated or broken. I would easily give the old version 5 stars! The new formula is really not very good. I'm not sure if it's because of the strong smell, but I'd say it feels like a drugstore moisturizer. The smell they added is terrible - smells a lot like cheap rose perfume. Unfortunately, this very smelly new formula doesn't make up for that with improved hydration - I find it feels thicker and oilier than the previous formula, which was light and refreshing in comparison. I'll buy an old one while I can! I can't recommend this anymore when the only version they're going to make from now on is the new one.
