Review on 🐱 Hill's Science Diet Grain Free Dry Cat Food for Adult Cats with Sensitive Stomach & Skin - Salmon & Yellow Pea Recipe, 13 lb Bag by Cathy Peng

Many years ago we adopted a pregnant street cat. She had three little boys and although we found homes for one of them we couldn't find homes for the other two so we let her (and her mother). These two kittens looked the same (tabby) but were still like day and night. One always weighed more than the other and was a darker red-orange than his brother, and he never had any health problems as a child. Another, on the other hand, had recurring digestive problems (he swallowed food and then got sick or had very loose stools). He was always thinner, but very energetic. We thought he might be allergic to something in his food (canned and dry) so we've tried many different foods over the years. I even took him to the vet when he was about three years old to see if they could find anything specific like IBS. They could not. The best thing we found that gave him the least problems a few years ago was Purina One Sensitive System dry food which he has tolerated fairly well for years. His symptoms weren't that bad. Other cats liked it too. But about two or three years ago(?) the recipe may have changed because he and the other cats didn't like the food anymore, and the name was changed to Sensitive Skin and Stomach. wild, so we started testing our cats on different grain-free foods. Now our vet is telling us to avoid grain free food because it's bad for cats. Oi! So we started trying different brands and flavors again and finally settled on Hill's Science Diet Dry Cat Food, Adult, Sensitive Stomach & Skin after finally getting our cat diagnosed. He has some form of irritable bowel syndrome with a thickened intestinal wall, or "loops" as our vet calls it (biopsy didn't show cancer). In addition to the anti-inflammatory, our vet suggested trying Science Diet ZD (can), which our cat has been enjoying and occasionally eating for a few weeks. Our vet didn't have a Z/D the day I was there so I stopped by Revain and two months ago found this Hill's Science Diet dry food for adult sensitive stomachs and skin. It seemed to have the optimal balance of carbs and protein so I decided to give it a try. He arrived the next day. All four cats liked this food so much that we were shocked. They still eat canned food twice a day (like Fancy Feast, Purina Beyond, Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin cans) but we keep two bowls of kibble between cans. Just ordered our third 7lb bag (we eat one 7lb bag a month for four cats). PS I test how well they like different foods by putting 3 or 4 different brands/flavors on different plates and noting which foods disappear and which don't (and who eats the foods). I will replace untouched foods with others, keep track of them all the time, and even return to foods that were previously discarded. This scientific diet is diet-sensitive and has been a firm favorite for the last two months. a pair of pocket clips to keep them closed. We always use black and silver binding clips on everything. much cheaper than "pocket clips"
