Review on Nemesis Smooth Burgundy Leather Stitched DBDT by Matthew Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Why four stars? - Clock

Because I can't give four and a half stars! In fact, the only criticism I have of this strap is that I can't speak to durability as I've only had it for a short time and I'm a bit concerned about the buckle parts. They should be metal, but either feel very LIGHT or have a plastic feel. I also like the look; I've worn it with Citizen watches as well as Jack Mason Nautical and Aviator watches, Seiko and Casio divers, Orient aviators and a Tissot chronograph and they all look pretty edgy. A few reviewers have spoken out about how large they are, but while I don't have particularly large wrists, I do have issues with short straps on some watches. These Nemesis bands are near perfect in that regard. Also, most of my watches are 38-42mm and they all look great with these straps. Yes the leather is quite thick but I like it and the leather breaks pretty easily. I love the single prong buckle on this strap (my other Nemesis straps have two prongs) and many people prefer this design as some reviews mention that the two prong design is a bit awkward to begin with. Summary: Considering the durability rating, I think this watch band is a good buy at an affordable price.
