I use a 2 TP channel range extender and was happy with the coverage of my property, but it was difficult to switch APs depending on where you were in my house. I got the recommendation because if it didn't work it would just end up in a heap with other routers and whatnot. It was easy to set up and covered my whole house. While 3 worked fine I added 2 more in my yard and garage mainly because it gives better coverage but it worked fine without the extension. This product delivers! I can control who has access and which devices have priority. I use switches to connect TVs, game consoles, and computers, and they work like they're connected to a router. I left a router in the system for storage to an external drive, as that device doesn't have a USB port. I'm very happy so far.
