light blue + white lace cover = beautiful blue fabric. BUT. Although the length of the dress is ok, the upper body has been tailored to fit a short man's body. It has a high waist to chest level, so the bra darts are also too high. It doesn't fit well and therefore looks messy when I tried it on. I think this dress was originally designed as a tea length dress for a rather petite (under 5ft) plump woman. This dress would be perfect if it looked like a long sleeve t-shirt dress. As a stretch fabric, there would be no need for darts and the waist would be more forgiving. Thank goodness this was purchased with free returns as there was no way I would ever wear this dress in public.
