I've seen too many bad reviews about this system so I wanted to give my opinion. First, remember that not all speakers are right for everyone. Speakers are like clothes, perfume, etc. You choose them based on your taste, but in order to buy the right ones (speakers), you need to ask yourself a few questions first. What kind of music am I listening to? Which brand do I belong to? What do I expect from him? This portable speaker doesn't have deep bass, TRUE, but it does. Also, his voice acting is great. Vocals sound clean and warm, and its ability to play songs with lots of sounds and instruments is great for such a small, portable speaker. I have many portable speakers including the Bose Revolve+ and mostly prefer the Explore. Again, if you're looking for a speaker for extreme bass music this isn't the way to go, but if you like vocal music, smooth jazz like Diana Krall's, you'll love this one. If you're looking for a speaker for parties, this isn't the one either, but if you're looking for a speaker to take with you on walks or to the office or home without drawing all your attention, then this is the option for you Right for you, while this little speaker can be loud, it does it well and doesn't get annoying. I like it! Forgot to mention... the build quality is superb!
