I definitely recommend it.

I'm happy to report that this flex blade whisk is much better than the original knife that came with KitchenAid. No more scraping the sides of the bowl, the whisk did it all for me, so much better. My car didn't need a height adjustment either, fantastic product at a very competitive price. I don't understand why this isn't standard with KitchenAid. Some reviews say it doesn't work properly, but it doesn't. I think it totally depends on your whisk being the right height. One thing that's interesting just by watching him work is that you can see at how many points the whisk is touching the sides of the bowl. Depending on the speed, the mixture may not appear to be thrown off the sides, but it should tumble around at every point. This metal is coated along one side of the whisk with a rubbery flexible edge that cleans the sides and bottom of the bowl very effectively, unlike the whisk that comes with KitchenAid. I've used it to make Swiss meringue buttercream, Victoria cookies, and muffins, which are pretty light batters so I haven't tested it with a thicker mix, but so far I've had no complaints. Excellent quality. I definitely recommend it.
