I had a problem with the video adapter, it wasn't working with my HP laptop. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive. I really appreciate that the company really tried to support and support the product. After several attempts to resolve the issue, the company sent a replacement. An exchange didn't help either. I have been working from home with limited IT support since March 13th. The problem was solved yesterday. The solution was to restart the computer and log in with ADMINISTRATOR credentials. We connected the video adapter and the laptop immediately recognized the new USB device. The connected monitor started to work. CONCLUSION: If the user does not have permission to install the software, the administrator may need to login to install the USB drivers for the adapter to work.
