I just bought this system from a local dealer to replace a 30+ year old system that was held together with duct tape! hahaha So my review may be biased as the bar has been set quite low. Anyway, I'm very happy with the set. I paid a hundred and fifty dollars for it, no sales tax during our annual tax exemption. So the used price in this listing is pretty ridiculous. I made a comparison shop. If technical support is important to you, choose an AT&T system over Panasonic. I had to contact AT&T tech support twice and they were excellent. Clear contact details, a well thought out automated FAQ system and live representatives with great communication skills if you need further assistance. In contrast, Panasonic was terrible. My previous system from 30 years ago was Panasonic so my natural bias was to buy that brand. But it took me an hour to get a phone number and as soon as I got a live person on the line I hung up while I was helped but I was put on hold and had to start over. Then the second rep I got wasn't nearly as helpful as the first. In fact, he was quite lazy and rude to me and didn't seem to know his company's products very well. Instead of answering my question, he advised me to look it up on the internet. I informed him that I had already replied and couldn't find an answer on the internet, so I only spent an hour contacting him. I just wanted to know if any of their phones have a specific feature. Finally, he said he was tech support, not sales. I think the tech support guys don't know the capabilities of their products. It was this unsatisfying interaction that drove my decision to purchase this AT&T model, and I'm glad I did. It's sleek and modern, very attractive, and seems to have a lot of great features that I haven't explored yet. hope it lasts It seems much better made than some of the other phone systems on the market.
