Just as good as my old Hamilton Beach

My old hand blender has started to rust so it's time to try a new one. It was comparable in price but included many more accessories and more mixing speed options. I mainly use an immersion blender, mini food processor, and whisk attachments. I love beating eggs with this device in seconds, the variable speed settings give me lots of leeway and I can puree tomatoes with ease. B. in tomato soup, make a quick merengue or add just enough air to scrambled eggs to make it fluffy. I've also used it to make smoothies and it crushes ice and crushes frozen fruit better than the blenders at my local $1,000 smoothie chain. Now time will tell if it holds up better than the more expensive ones I've bought, but a few weeks of use hasn't weakened it, and even using it every other day I don't see the start of rust either.
