Moldy but works well

The toothbrush works well but there is always mold on it that I have to wash off where the toothbrush head connects to the toothbrush itself. That's rough. My son has Sonicare and we have never had this problem with him. Needless to say, I just ordered Sonicare for my daughter because I was tired of cleaning/fumbling around with her every few times.
