I took size 2 for my almost 5 year old girl (for reference, she is 39 inches tall and weighs 32 pounds) and they were still too big . They just looked like regular baggy shorts. However, they are well made and the silver color is really shiny and beautiful. I bought them to wear under her Halloween costume and although they are not suitable for that we kept them anyway because they are cute, just like regular shorts.
