Well, when the elite fall apart like mine.
If you've had an Elite controller for over a year, you know how easily the grips detach from the controller after prolonged use. (Microsoft will not help in this matter either). Mine started bubbling all over so I went with leather to hide the bubbles and keep it more comfortable. These pens do the job perfectly. The only reason I took off a star was how the left thumb cap felt. This prevents you from pushing the stick all the way forward due to its thickness.
