My fingers hurt but the result is good

I have several different brands of spiralizers and they all work about the same (from $6 to $20). never bought those really expensive ones though.). PROS: I love the result: being able to make something delicious, super healthy and easy in no time. CONS: The problem I see with these spiralizers is the design. I ALWAYS hurt myself, at least a little, even though I knew it was going to happen and being more careful than last time, I ended up cutting my finger. That's because I try to minimize waste, otherwise nearly a third of the zucchini goes uncut. CON2: I don't think it works very well with carrots (much easier with zucchini). I will try to buy bigger carrots, although organic carrots are usually smaller. TIP: I ended up using just one spiralizer for zucchini and then a regular larger one for carrots. And I do not boil carrots so that the dish turns out pleasantly crispy. :)
