I'm not a techie. I'm a nurse and biochemist, I enjoy tinkering with machines and have done computer research for which I only needed a simple scenario. This week I decided to upgrade my laptop for the first time. After a 15 minute YouTube video, I got to the bottom of my laptop and replaced the 4GB memory card with this 8GB baby. I don't know why this RAM card is so cheap compared to others, but my computer now performs noticeably better when it has extra temporary storage. If it helps, the RAM used for my computer shows as 6.95GB. Feel free to ask any other questions or tell me something nice about the laptop upgrade.
