It was an excellent sieve while it lasted. Unfortunately, one of the handles fell off after a year and is therefore out of the guarantee. We always clean by hand. We never put it in the dishwasher. After searching reviews, it turned out that this happened to others. Like I said, I liked it while it lasted, although I won't be buying it again. Also, I emailed the company and they replied that it is a bonus but they said they cannot offer anything as the guarantee has expired. Fair enough, I like foods that last a little over a year.
