In general, that's a good thing. At first I only installed the UHD Slimline ODD so it was good that the 3.5 inch drive bay cover looked good. Fit is decent. For my Fractal Design R5, only two screws hold it well enough. I went back to add a 3.5 inch reader and that's where my heart stopped. Tried to unplug the "free" 6-pin to 15-pin Sata Slimline PSU from the back of the optical drive. Rock, rock, idiot, no. I pulled harder, breaking the plastic of the optical drive's power connector. beep! There's no good glue here, but it's back together after carefully removing the tab from the adapter and reattaching it with superglue. This adapter is junk. Two days for the glue to set and a Startech combo power/signal adapter instead and I don't have to throw out the $80 disc. was. I have a similar drive that I used for a comparison test. The Startech doesn't hold badly, but it's not that firm, the shaped tines (?) aren't that high. My glue work is holding up adequately, startech hasn't taken it apart (yet) when I plugged in the original refurbished connector, but I'm still not very happy with this adapter. short story? I highly recommend spending the extra cash on a combo adapter if you have an idea for disconnecting and reconnecting a drive. It was also easier for my PC to connect the SATA signal cable to the ODD. Help this MB343SPO reach its true potential. Looks great, works great - beware of the "free" adapter!
