If you walk more than 30 minutes look elsewhere

I have LifeProof cases for iPhone and iPad. Although there are elements in the iPad case that I could change, I'm still very happy with both cases. They do their main job (keep water out) and do it well. Bracelets are a slightly different story. I like the idea and function of the bracelet, but unfortunately it has big problems in practice. On a positive note, I have yet to use the same comfortable strap. It easily detaches from your armband while running, making those text messages a lot less disruptive while you run. The phone is very secure, and although my latch is a bit broken on top (my fault, not the product), it still holds the phone securely. On the other hand, if you don't wear sleeves, the closure will compress the skin. If you have a lot of biceps, the only good place (in my experience) for a bracelet is just above the elbow. At this point, after about 30 minutes, the fastener rubs against my skin. On a recent run I also had a cut on the inside of my arm at the top of the clasp. If you only run in the cold and/or always wear compression sleeves that might not be a problem, but I like running in the heat and it's a serious problem. My bandage is now about 6 months old and I have walked 2-3 times. per week at this time, mostly in the range of 5-10 thousand, which for me is 25-50 minutes. Velcro last week which originally was so strong starts to fail. That means a bracelet costs twice as much as any other I've had, but lasts about half as long. It's a good enough bandage that will work great with your LifeProof case. If you run or do a sport that involves jumping and running, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
