Review on Iris USA SBC-350E Portable Project and Scrapbook Case, 12x12 Paper Storage, Natural Clear by Ian Patilla

The clasps don't stay closed in many cases

I ordered these despite complaints about the clasps because they were the only ones that suited my needs and a lot of people seemed very happy with them. When I received them they looked a bit silly and I thought about returning them but decided to give it a try. I needed to store them vertically, and I needed cases that didn't carry so much weight that they became heavy. In retrospect, I wouldn't do that. I had these cases for several months and filled them out. I've found that the latches on at least half of them won't close or latch. The only thing that keeps the paper inside is that there are a lot of them on the shelf and they kind of keep each other closed. I went to the IRIS USA website to see what they would do with those that didn't stay closed. . There is a quote on their website: "DAMAGE / DEFECT. If you purchased the items from a location other than IRIS USA, Inc., you must contact the original place of purchase. You will have a record of this transaction. Because different companies have different return/replacement requirements, you will need to work with them directly to determine if your request qualifies for a return/replacement. They are bought directly from their website. This seems highly unacceptable considering they are sold EVERYWHERE. And even then, they only support their products for 30 days. I think we should expect more from the companies we work with.
