Not bad. The connections are about 1 foot shorter than my original plan, but there were enough connections to modify my plan to make it work. As for functionality. Pressing the button once turns it on/off. Hold the button to activate the dimmer, slowly increasing the brightness and flashing when it reaches the maximum. Press and hold again and the dimmer will slowly dim and flash when it's darkest. The power button remembers the brightness setting, which is very convenient. The only real downside is the very poor mounting clips. And as mentioned, the included double-sided mounting tape is weak. I used metal clips with a piece of tape on top (perfect fit, maybe that's what it was designed for). And it seems like it has been for a week. I will update if they stop keeping or something stops working.
