I was looking for a bag for work. Here's what I had to pack: a lunch bag, a relatively rigid insulated bag containing pump parts and bottles, and a small tote. I wanted a backpack that could be loaded with one hand and thought a doctor's bag style opening would be nice. I also ordered a country diaper bag to try. It was better than the Land bag (and not just because it wasn't made specifically for bottles etc). It felt sturdier, it wasn't that cheap, and it was a little bigger (but hardly). The bag is smaller than a normal school backpack. I would say it's about the size of a small backpack or a very large bag. It stood up on its own, which was great, and the hole stayed open. But due to the fact that the hole was hard, it was quite difficult to stuff your stuff in. In the end, the body of the bag was too small to fit everything. I also decided that I wanted a little more comfort than what was on offer. The body was stiff and weird on my back and the straps were pretty bare. It was pretty decent for the price, but I ended up sending it back and got a backpack that was more than twice the price but also more than twice the quality.
