I put water in it and it doesn't fog up. I followed the instructions, poured water in from the tap, but nothing, I changed the mode button several times. . It's just a fan and even at altitude it's not particularly cool unless you're standing directly in front of it. I don't understand the good reviews. I could buy a regular desk fan for $10. I am extremely disappointed. As if all that wasn't enough, the strap broke. I had no illusions that it was cooling the entire room, I was just hoping for more cooling than the regular fan on my desk. Do not buy!
