Review on 🔧 Yamaha TTR225 TTR-225 1999-2004 Carburetor Carb Replacement - 5FG-14901-00-00 Upgrade by Prentice Fossett

The needle is not adjustable and I don't know where to get another one or profile. There is no pilot jet in the carburetor, and if there is, it is pressed in and cannot be replaced. The biggest problem is that the mixture screw doesn't do anything, screw it in or out, works the same and the choke doesn't do anything other than stop the bike, so I'm guessing the idle mixture is too rich, but don't have the ability to restart or adjust . If you live at altitude don't use this carb, it's probably perfect for a 225-250cc sea level bike.
