It's nice, but. they are quite small. I didn't expect them to be big though. The bottles are actually made of glass, but the lid is made of metal. They do what I bought them for and have no major flaws so I can't complain. They would be ideal salt and pepper shakers for a one person family or for use in picnic baskets, RV's, RV's etc. I don't know yet how easy they are to clean as I haven't gotten that far. , but hopefully one finger is enough to clean it from the inside, because that's all that fits.
