I was deeply impressed by the product. I've become a huge fan of American Crew products. Great for buzzing hair. Also good for frizzy and unruly gray hair. Pleasant smell, strong on the fresh side, but the aroma dissipates after a few minutes. I live in Southwest Florida. Heat and humidity damage hair. If you are prone to scalp irritation after using setting and perspiring gels then this product is for you. I usually use the gel after shampooing before blow drying. After that I would use American Crew Fiber Creme. Now I just need one product. After the hair is blow-dried and you run the comb or comb through your hair, you can see and maintain the feathering effect of the comb (a line that gets hard as you run the comb/brush through your hair). Apply with a brush while the gel builds up. Only a small amount is needed. I use less than a pea-sized amount. PS I am a former hairdresser and know the product.
