I straighten my hair and use different serums, creams and hair mixes and drink hard water - all a bad combination. My highlights look dull, my hair becomes difficult to style and loses bounce, shine and smoothness. I don't have bad hair. It's simply time for a thorough cleaning! I'm not a fan of the Neutrogena Clarifying Shampoo. I have bought Redken Detox Cleansing Hair Cream twice and I love it! It has a nice clean scent and makes my hair manageable and shiny again. My highlights are lighter and lighter. A tip not to waste the product: it doesn't lather much on thick or greasy hair. I pre-wash with regular shampoo and rinse – then use Redken for a second lather from scalp to tips, leave for 5-20 minutes depending on hair type/extensions. Rinse thoroughly and I highly recommend applying a deep conditioner for 15+ minutes, concentrating on the ends.
