Lighting and ceiling fan control problems

I love these lights! We then moved upstairs in our living room and over the last few months we've reduced our electric bills because we no longer use overhead lighting. My only issue that surfaced later was that when we toggle the volume, power button, between Netflix and other providers, pause and play, and brightness, our new TV in our living room changes the light. The lighting control doesn't even sit on the same wall as the TV, but it changes it anyway. For example, if we increase the volume, it will become aqua, and if we decrease the volume, it will become red. I'm not sure why this is happening, but be aware.
