These shoes are fun and my 6 year old daughter loves them. The size matched her other shoe sizes. We also put amulets on them. She wanted to wear them to school, but I put a pair of regular tennis shoes in her backpack in case she wanted to change. She was glad I did because she needed better shoes to play with in the middle of the day. I think they are good for putting on and taking off and lounging around, but if your child wants to run and play then they need good running shoes :-)
