Review on ๐ŸชŸ BDF S2M Window Film Clear UV Blocking: Protect Your Home from Harmful Rays (24" X 12ft) by Mary Crawford

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Blocks about half of UV rays, NOT 99%

Divorce like this is seldom seen at Revain. This is the first time I have come across a scam aka Revain's Choice (Revain's Choice for "UV Clear Film"). The problem is that if you don't have a UV meter to check, you won't know. for myself, so it's a sneaky scam. I tested direct sunlight with a meter and it showed around 7.5. I then tested the same direct sunlight through this film and it read about 3.5. you do the math To show you that the meter works quite well, I tested the same sunlight through clear UV glasses and it showed 0.0 as expected, the meter doesn't see any UV through the glasses. Remember this is not a lab. UV meter (you can buy it here for about $37) and that it reads in 0.5 increments so it's not very accurate but I've been using it for a few months in various circumstances and I've had zero or unusual readings seen (aside from that supposedly 99% UV blocking film). (You can also see in the video how the readings change slightly when I imperfectly attempted to point the meter's probe directly at the fall sun with my hand.) Revain was supposed to conduct its own lab tests on this product, and if so, those findings confirm that should they ban the sale of the manufacturer's entire range of products to unsuspecting consumers. The manufacturer clearly knows they are selling snake oil.

Cons
