The team is passionate about helping students gain knowledge, skills and confidence through work-based learning opportunities that enhance employability as well as personal development within an engaging environment. This includes but not limited too; 1) teaching business basics such as how businesses are run2) developing leadership traits3) providing mentoring4) improving student communication5) working towards enhancing career prospects6). I think there are many more benefits. It also helps build trust between our members and staff so this could be seen by some as negative - however it does help make sure everyone's expectations from each other/the programme match up (e.g., we expect our member(s)/client to attend at least part time every week, they should do likewise & vice versa etc.).
