With a flick of the lever you can easily adjust the height so you can sit or stand. The design is somehow futuristic combined with steampunk. The work surface is quite large and can easily handle any laptop if space is available. If you need extra space for your mouse or documents, no problem. Overall I like it very much for my needs (standing computing). The assembly of the table takes about 10-20 minutes without additional tools. One thing I noticed after a few weeks of use is that the base block that bolts to the table height block is a bit loose with the tool provided, you can't tighten the bolt really well. I would recommend some "real" tools when building. Another thing I noticed is that the wheels are slightly smaller in diameter for easy rolling on carpets. They roll well on hard surfaces but feel a bit small. They snap onto the screwed-in wheel bolts so that different wheels can be attached if necessary. All in all, this is a pretty decent workstation. It's priced a bit higher than some other laptop stands you might see, but the work surface is larger, it's a bit more solid overall (all-metal construction except for the desktop), and is very easy to adjust with a spring-loaded lever. .
